Free Command-Line Tools

This part of the SnmpSoft website includes a helpful set of simple network tools for Windows operator and network administrators. All of the tools supports the following features:

• Command line interface (CLI)
• Designed for use in script/batch files
• Ready for IPv4 and IPv6 networks

SyslogGen

A tool that sends system logging (syslog) messages. Syslog generator.

SnmpGet

A tool that obtains the value of the SNMP variable.

SnmpSet

A tool that sets the value of the SNMP variable.

SnmpWalk

A tool that lists existing SNMP variables. Snmp tree walker.

SnmpTrapGen

A tool that generates SNMP traps. Snmp trap generator.
