Syslog Watcher 4.2.5 is available for download. The new version supports Windows 2000 and has no .NET framework prerequisite.
The previous version of Syslog Watcher (4.2.3) did not support Windows 2000 and required .NET Framework while being installed. Loss of Windows 2000 compatibility is connected to renewal of our development tools. Internet search with &KB2467174& as a keyword shows that this affected many software products. However, Our company is not going to stop supporting Windows 2000 and we have solved this problem. SnmpSoft software does not require any version of the .NET platform, so this requirement was removed as well.
